Our restoration process
- Inspect and quote. We check each lens for cracks, chips and moisture inside. If something can't be fixed, we tell you before we start.
- Wash and mask. We clean the lens and tape off the paint and trim around it, so only the plastic lens gets worked on.
- Wet-sand in stages. We remove the failed factory coating and the yellow, oxidized layer, moving from coarse to very fine paper.
- Polish to clear. We machine-polish the lens until it's crystal clear again.

Why does European headlight restoration cost more?
The lenses are usually larger and more complex, with more trim and sensors around them, so they take more careful masking and polishing. It's $189 a pair.
Can you fix peeling clear coat on my BMW or Audi headlights?
Yes. Peeling and blotchy factory coating is exactly what we remove. We sand it off evenly, polish the lens clear, and seal it with a ceramic UV coating.
What if there's moisture inside the headlight?
Restoration fixes the outside of the lens only. If there's condensation inside, the housing seal has failed and the assembly usually needs repair or replacement. We'll tell you before we start.
